This workshop was a fabulous way to spend a morning. Jo and Kelly are incredibly knowledgable in their field as well as being excellent chefs.
The workshop was set informally around a cooking station and before the cooking started we were welcomed with a choice of refreshments and a talk on what inflammation is. This was followed by a demonstration of 5 recipes which we subsequently ate. The food is plant based and absolutely delicious. The dishes made were incredibly healthy and pretty quick (ideal for a weeknight) and the recipes are presented comprehensively in a booklet to take home with other relevant information and references. Some of the recipes require a blender or food processor but mostly hand preparation will suffice.
The group was encouraged to engage and ask questions and we had some excellent discussions.
Alongside learning about how food can cause/prevent/negate inflammation, I came away with lots of practical cooking, ingredient buying and storage tips.
Thank you ladies – I’ll definitely be back!
